About this Tool

This tool uses the pdf-lib JavaScript library to add a text or image watermark to your PDF file entirely within your browser.

• How it works:
  1. Upload your PDF.
  2. Choose "Text" and enter your text, or choose "Image" and upload a JPG/PNG.
  3. Set the position, transparency (opacity), rotation, and optionally specify which pages to watermark.
  4. Click "Add Watermark". The tool reads your original PDF.
  5. It creates a **new PDF**, copying all original pages.
  6. For each selected page, it draws your watermark text or image on top with the specified settings.
  7. A download link for the new, watermarked PDF is provided.
• Privacy: Your PDF file and watermark image are never uploaded to a server.
• Encrypted Files: Cannot process password-protected or encrypted PDFs.
