Dew Point Calculator

This calculator estimates the temperature to which air must be cooled to become saturated with water vapor. Please provide any two of the three variables below to calculate the third.

What is Humidity?

Humidity is the amount of water vapor in the air. It indicates the likelihood of precipitation, dew, or fog. Relative humidity, used in this calculator, is a percentage that compares the current amount of water vapor to the maximum amount the air can hold at its current temperature.

What is Dew Point?

The dew point is the temperature at which air becomes 100% saturated with water vapor and condensation begins to form. When the air cools to its dew point, you'll see water droplets appear on surfaces, which we call dew. A higher dew point means there is more moisture in the air, which can feel uncomfortable because it hinders the evaporation of sweat.
